This is an automatic HDMI switch which is also HDMI 1.3a compliant, the HMS-41 QuadMax switch will automatically sense and source the detected live input which will be displayed on your television.
If you use multiple sources which are all on then you can set a priority source which it will default to,
Ideal for many HDMI sources including the Sony PS3, the HMS-41 will ship in July and set you back ¥60,000 or around $486.
The other thing you can do is make sure when choosing a HDTV to count the HDMI ports and do not end up with just 1 like I did.
