Yukai PVR H240 40GB
This is the yukai 40gb portable multimedia device and does it remind you of another named PMP, namely the Mustek PVR H240 we posted today.

Well it is the same device, but why do both have different names on the top right of the device.

This import Portable Media Player also raises the question of brand names and letting imports like Chinese media players into the U.S. as we see a lot of PMP and phones being a copy and clone of branded US models.

If that does not bother you then you will save a lot of money, but is it right?

Yukai PVR H240 Features:

  • TV playback through AV Out
  • High speed USB 2.0 support
  • 2.4” Color TFT LCD; adjustable LCD brightness
  • Up to 30 fps VGA quality AV recording (MPEG 4 compatible file format)
  • Digital Voice Recorder
  • MMC/SD Card Reader
  • USB Pocket Drive
  • Music Player
  • Digital Photo Player
  • Digital Video Recorder
  • Digital Video Player
  • Portable 7-in-1 Multimedia Center

So why the different name on the same device Mustek PVR H240, let us know what you think in the comments.

Yukai is a Mustek company. Conceivably, the device was manufactured with two different names for marketing reasons. Perhaps “Mustek” means something bad in some of their target markets.
