Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer
The second film Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer is the film everyone is talking about right now, but in what way as Rotten Tomatoes has Fantastic Four 2 at just 39% right now…surely thats not right, or is it?

Stan and Jack did an amazing thing with the Fantastic Four comic book and without them we would have no comic book movies in my view, no Spider-Man (that Lee co-created with Steve Ditko) and many more comics and films missing.

Yes, before you say it comic books existed before Stan Lee and Jack Kirby but these two men changed comic book history and I would say comic books would have stopped years ago without these guys and in-turn many movies would have not been made.

Now back to Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, the movie that is fun and entertaining overall in my opinion, also you got to remember with its PG rating this film was aimed at kids and as such will appeal more to them.

Kids will probably have a blast, but the film also leaves us parents having to explain afterwards what exactly those American federal agents were doing torturing a gurneyed prisoner in a secret Siberian base.

The movie reviewers seem to be split in two and the ratings very low overall, but I wonder how many are adults are not looking at the film from a children’s view.

I am an adult that never grew up, I love big boy’s toys, gadgets and I love Fantastic Four 2.

What’s your view?
Is Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer too low-rent FX-wise to be dazzling?
Or does the sequel far outdo the 2004 original?

Just beacuse a movie is for kids, it is not an excuse for it being awful.
