This point-and-shoot digital camera is the Canon PowerShot SD850 IS which has 8 million effective pixels and was only just announced in May 2007.

The Canon Ixus 850 IS offers good image quality, great performance and sound image stabilization, other features include a weight 165 g, camera measures 90 x 57 x 26 mm, a 2.5 inch LCD screen, 4x Optical zoom and a DIGIC III processor.
