Sony PS3 Update 1.81: Firmware fixes HDMI and RGB issues

Thanks to the ps3 update 1.81, when you turn your games console on this morning if you had problems with RGB or when using the HDMI cable these should now be resolved.

It’s only a small update in the form of Sony PS3 Firmware 1.81 which comes not long after we told you about the much bigger update Firmware 1.80 only 3 weeks ago.

This update should improve gameplay experience, some gamers reported that when they set RGB to the Full setting it would revert back to Limited sometimes (update 1.81 will address this issue).

Sony is also aiming to improve PS2 software compatibility in future updates.
