Microwave Popcorn Ban in Seattle City Buildings

Microwave Popcorn Ban
Lawmakers in Seattle are considering a microwave popcorn ban in city buildings after a memo reported that several evacuations had taken place in the last few years because of smoke alarms being tripped by burning popcorn.

Burnt popcorn caused eight evacuations at the Justice Center over the last 3 years and that caused havoc to more than 400 people that had to be evacuated each time.

So if this continues to happen the memo has stated that there will be a microwave popcorn ban in downtown Seattle City buildings.

What gets me is why the people cooking the microwave popcorn do not stay there with it while it cooks for just a few minutes; this will stop the problem (what a joke, less chat and more focus Justice People).
