Colgate Toothpaste Recall: Issued by FDA

June 14, 2007 | Filed under Hot Topic News

Colgate Toothpaste
FDA has issued a Colgate toothpaste recall on all five-ounce tubes of toothpaste labeled Colgate; this comes after receiving reports in late May 2007 and recent tests found a poisonous chemical (diethylene glycol) in Colgate toothpaste.

Be aware that this recall is reported to be just from discount stores in four states and that were imported from China.

Currently the FDA is warning consumers to avoid using tubes of toothpaste labeled as made in China and they are also stopping any suspect toothpaste from entering the U.S.
