Shilpa Shetty: launch of her new perfume S2

Shilpa Shetty on Tuesday in London launched her new perfume S2 which joins her with the likes of Paris Hilton, Jennifer Lopez, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kylie Minogue who have all previously launched their own fragrance.
Shilpa Shetty has become much more famous since she was in Celebrity Big Brother UK and now it makes sense to launch her own perfume, I feel that Shilpa Shetty’s S2 will do very well.
Shilpa Shetty is reported to have said this at the launch of her perfume:
“It is very international but has an ethnic feel to it because of the whole jasmine twist that we have given to the scent. It is something that is very synonymous with me and jasmine is very common in India, it’s very difficult to find abroad, but the scent of jasmine is very long lasting and if you like it, you love it.”
This is just the start for Shilpa as we will see her head into other areas of fashion very soon.

I’m surely going to by S2
I will not buy this or any other “celebrity” perfume.I am fussy about perfume and all these “name brands” are so mass produced they are ALL cheap smelling and nasty .From their overpowering top note to commercially air spray base notes.They really are for 14 year old girls on 1st venture into world of perfume.And 30 year old mums on smaller incomes.
Bottom line is that the “celebrity” outside of the Promotion of their “perfumes” would not be smelt dead in public wearing it…. says it all really.
I’m going to smell it first. My girlfriend is a huge Shilpa fan. And if smells nice, theres no reason why I won’t be buying it. That said, I think my girlfriend will buy it no matter what
I was hoping this might have sandalwood in, it could be worth a try, patchouli and bergamot are lovely. I wonder if the jasmine will be overpowering. Will try a tester first.
i will definitely buy S2.
