Safari 3
We posted earlier today about Apple opening up the iPhone to third party applications via the new Safari 3 web browser, but now we wanted to see what everyone thinks of the new Safari browser.

With Apple claiming Safari for Windows is the best and fastest web browser, we wanted to know if you think so.

Safari 3 was Bench marked as 2x faster than IE which many of us know is the market leader, so leave a comment and let us know what you think of Safari 3?

I downloaded the Safari 3 beta for Windows yesterday and I have to say that I’m very impressed so far. The option to turn on “private browsing” allows ytou to keep the browser running at full speed because it stores nothing, and that full speed is significantly faster than Internet Explorer. There are no bugs as of yet and the interface is Apple-smooth. Sorry, Microsoft, but I’m gonna have to call it for Apple on this one…again…

I am really glad Apple release Safari for Windows because now I can do cross-browser compatibility testing on Safari without buying a MAC. According to some tests it seems that its slower then Firefox.
