This Laptop HDTV Receiver is a portable device that just plugs into a USB port on your laptop or any other desktop computer and included is a magnetic HD antenna that plugs into the receiver which will allow you to receive and record local high-definition television content because it uses the same ATSC tuner found in full-sized HDTV’s.

  1. The same ATSC tuner as in full-sized HDTVs? Not from performance standpoint.
How about an experiment? Plug the receiver into a laptop USB, and connect laptop output to your full size HDTV.
Let us know if you see a difference.

You are so ignorant that you don’t tell the difference between tuner and dsp. It’s the job of a software and processor to make the signal viewable. Tuner just grabs it and sends it to processing chain.
