Release date for Shrek 4

Just as we gear ourselves up for Shrek The Third, it seems that plans for the fourth instalment are underway. It is set to have a new director and a shockingly close release date of 2010.
The film may also see a new director in the form of Mike Mitchell, the man behind the camera on films like Sky High and Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigalo.

The plot for the film has yet to be decided though voice of Fiona, Cameron Diaz, hopes that the producers give the film a green dimension with an environmental message. With Shrek the Third exhausting all the previous plot lines and slap-stick, she may just get her wish.
