If you want the best graphics from your gaming it would normally cost you a bundle, but apparently a particular graphics card called the NVIDIA GeForce 8500GT will be joining the NVIDIA family in June and the rumor is it will be the cheapest GeForce 8 series card to date.
This low end DirectX 10 video card is also meant to have a price tag of around $80 and the GeForce 8500GT will be available in a couple of versions (256MB and 128MB of frame buffer memory).
The memory interface on the new budget graphics cards will have just 64MB of memory channels, compared to the more expensive NVIDIA 8500 series cards sporting 128MB memory interfaces.
Being able to run DirectX 10 games on your computer for a video card worth around $80 is a great deal, but I guess we will have to see the performance benchmarks between both cards before judgments are made.
