Thundercats the Movie from Warner Brothers

The script by newbie Paul Sopocy has been optioned by Warner Brothers to make the Thundercats Movie, this popular 80s animated TV series was one that I watched a lot as a kid and its good news to hear it will be making to the big screen as a film.

The big question will be “Will it make it big?” I always feel a lot of this has to-do with the marketing and what celebrities they get in the film.

Some big recent films along this line are the Spiderman films and the upcoming Transformers movie, will the Thundercats movie be bigger (some people feel it will be the biggest).

So get ready for the return of the evil sorcerer Mumm-Ra and humanoid cats Lion-O, Panthro, and Tygra.
