Nintendo Wii Remote Wrist Strap
With Nintendo announcing it wants to replace the original version of the Nintendo Wii wrist straps because of a lot of people have apparently reported they have broke the cord connecting the controller to the wrist strap.

This in-turn could cause the Wii Remote to strike bystanders or objects, but what we wanted to know was…Has this ever happened to any of you?

I have not personally heard of anyone who has had this happen, but it’s good that Nintendo have decided to act on the reports they got rather than bury their heads in the sand.

If you need to get another one from Nintendo then visit this page on their site, you also can get information there on how to use the Wii remote properly.

This is really old new! Like 4 months ago this was announced. Find something a little more recent to report!

Haha, wow, this so soooo old. Replacements were issued back in December!

I guess no one else knows anyone with this problem.

Yes, old news. But my nephew broke a wristrap around Christmas time, and he was 6. He couldn’t have put that much force into his swing… I tugged other similar straps with a great deal of force and nothing happened. I think some of them were just innately faulty.
