Updated: Google Maps Street View

Google Maps Street View is Google’s new feature that many of you would have heard about, here is our little update about it but if you have not heard of Google Maps new Street View then take it for a little test drive yourself.

The new service is currently available in New York, San Francisco, LA, Denver and Miami. The new maps will show street level 3D views of the local area and its become a big thing for many online to find 3D views of local areas where things weird are happening (for example yesterday I saw a post about someone finding a 3D view where a guy was having a pee on the side of the road).

When you’re on a 3D map street view then you can move yourself around and view photos of the area from nearly any location and looking in any direction…pretty cool.

The Google Maps Street View is search giant doing its bit again to keep ahead of the game and they are doing a good job of it.
