London Logo of 2012 Olympics
The moment I woke up this morning I had some lovely breakfast then looked at the news which showed the new logo for the 2012 London Olympics, this was unveiled in a star-studded ceremony in London.

Now straight away to me it looked loud and in your face, also many others are saying the same and some people even go as far as to call it crap and a waste of money (apparently they even had thousands of people asking for it to be changed straight away).

I have not made my mind up yet if I think its good or bad, but one thing is for sure it’s different and maybe that’s what the 2012 London Olympics logo needs to be as it is 5 years of yet.

surely, London can do much better than that!

  2. Mark Shepherd says:

this ‘lego’ logo is embarrasing, too costly and looks like it designed by a child. Britain is vibrant and foreward thinking but all i think of when I see this logo is a Lego swastika. Create a competion to design a logo/brand,this may placate many who are angry at this logo representing ‘our’ olympic games.

Are you serious!? I am a graphic designer in Houston TX and I am appauled at this. What is the purpose of this logo? What do the shapes mean? There’s no concept. My niece could come up with a better logo while she’s playing with her wooden block toys. I am shocked.

i dont like it, but its clever…

some people say its a load of shapes but if you look closely, it says 2012.

But i dont like it so it should be changed.

  5. John Cross says:

You have to look carefully, cause its virtually illegible.

A disgusting representation of Britain, reminisent of some bad pop art, as if pop art wasn’t bad enough.
