Price Less Than a Sony PS3: BDP-S300 Blu-ray Player
June 4, 2007 | Filed under Electronics, High Definition

Sony has announced that they are going to start selling the new Sony BDP-S300 Blu-ray player to retailers for a list price of only $499; this raises a question about getting Blue-ray in your living room as now you can own the Sony BDP-S300 Blu-ray player less than the cost of a Sony PS3.
So what would you say is better to own?
1) A Sony Playstation 3 (that has Blue-ray)
2) The Sony BDP-S300 Blu-ray player
It just seems a no-brainer to me, but let’s hear your thoughts in the comments box.
The BDP-S300 is currently the cheapest Blu-ray player from Sony.
