Xbox 360 Getting Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns Of The Patriots

Initially Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots was only being promised for the Playstation 3 but as time has been going on we are now hearing rumors that the Xbox 360 will also get the game.
The photos we have on this page are from the PS3 version and they do look amazing and show just how good Metal Gear Solid 4 graphics will be.
We are also hearing that the Xbox 360 version of the game will feature some exclusive content with Xbox Live making online gameplay an attractive feature.
I am not sure how concrete these rumors are as we are also hearing about a possible Nintendo Wii Metal Gear Solid 4 version.
Does anyone have any further information about the possibility of seeing the game on these other consoles?

Charles you are comparing a launch title (Resistance) against a title released a year after launch (GOW). It would make far more sense to compare GOW with Haze or MGS4. BTW would you like to explain to me how the PS3’s launch title Motorstorm looks better than any driving game released on the 360?

There is the undeniable fact that it’s an unreliable and noisy piece of hardware with appalling customer service so even if it were better than the PS3 the general public won’t want to buy it. There is also the issue of free online play. These are the things that the masses care about. So far most of the 360 and PS3 sales have been to early adopters (so called hardcore gamers). These are a minority. It’s the other 120 million + PS2 owners who will decide which of the 2 consoles sells best. Ask around. I don’t know anyone who owns a 360 but I personally know 14 people who own a PS2 and who say they will be buying a PS3 at some point. At the end of the day the good will out. Microsoft designed a console with the sole intention of stealing sales away from Sony whereas Sony’s intention was for theirs to be the best on the market.

Dude, I couldn’t have said it better.
First you tell me I shouldn’t compare Resistance because it is a release title then you follow by putting you foot in your mouth about how Motorstorm looks good compared to 360 racing titles. Is this not a launch title? It’s OK for one but not OK for the other. King Kong had better graphics and that was a release title on 360 as well as Kameo which looks great because I picked it up for my girl the other day and I heard Perfect Dark Zero was nice also. I really don’t know what you are smoking but it’s affecting your judgement and your vision. Motorstorm was fun when I played the demo but Sony needs to figure out how to make straight lines straight not jagged and what is up with the 2d Bushes and atmosphere and I think you can count the amount of tracks on 1 hand . I may have mentioned Gears of war a lot but dude I’m a racing Buff at heart. Any need for speed, Ridge Racer, Project Gothem, Forza, The Dirt Demo, and what ever else might be coming in the future is better. I personally can’t wait for Sega Rally to come and another version of Midnigth Club. I know some of these are Multi-Platform. But any Graphic comparison that has been done with The exception of Oblivion is always better on the 360.
Also I know that yes the 360 is definitely having some issues with overheating but really just get a cooler it works. I personally have a Niko Cooler. It cools it down significantly. But get the cooler with a switch as you should only turn it on after the initial power up. It draws too much power at first to power up and run the fan as well. Also just wait and see because that PS3 gets real hot as well. I read where it burned down someones house. Dude I really don’t know what all the noise is about the 360 being noisy. I never notice it. Maybe on startup you might notice. But you have got to be playing with the volume down for this thing to be any where near annoying. It’s more like a soft hmm if you really fell the need to listen to it.

Right! i have both the PS3 and Xbox 360!!! both are awsome pieces of kit in there own right! both having there pros and cons i think in the end it comes down to personal choice. It not just graphics but the games play as well. At the minute the Xbox 360 wins hands down with the range of games. I cant part with my Xbox solely for the reason of gears of war. One of the main factors is is that the Xbox had a 18 month head start! i think if u compare the PS3 in 18 months against the Xbox now i think the PS3 might have the edge in the games which are coming in the near future! Also the multi platform games are going to have the uper hand on the PS3 due to the blu-ray drive, companys have already commented on this. Also with a new cheaper drive out surely that can only mean a cheaper ps3??? I cant see the PS3 producing something better than xbox live though, that is sommat wihich all PS3 owners will wish they had!!!!

All you guys, (I include every fanboy that claims not to be a fanboy before going on to spout pure fanboy nonsense), are as dumb as feckery. The classic “I’m not a fanboy but…” introduction makes we laugh and wince in equal measure, because invariably you are one, usually in the extreme.
Such a tired, and above all else, pointless argument…. hanging around on forums talking rubbish about which console is the better, or best of all, listing console specs like you know what it all means… its very, very sad.
You all sound like little girls arguing whose got the best wardrobe for their Barbie doll, during which time your little brother has burnt the entire collection and is doing something revolting to the naked and headless toy. You should all grow up and have some fun without interferring with each other you sad little people.
You don’t ever see Wii owners on such forums… Why is that? Because their machine are more powerful? Have better games? NO! Probably because they are too busy having fun to care what anybody thinks about their cheaper, less powerful system.
I will end by saying I am a nextgen console owner… I’ll be quick to add not a Wii, as the previous paragraph may have indicated as such. I have either a PS3 or an Xbox360, or perhaps thats Xbox360 or PS3, (I don’t want to show a preference, GOD FORBID THAT I MIGHT!!). I have an opinion but I, unlike the rest of you pathetic losers, can keep it to myself….now get off these kinds of forums and get yourself down the shops, there’s a new fur coat you can buy for your Barbie.

i own both consoles and i like them both….and i own gears of war and resistance fall of man…and i must say i like resistance more. Gears of war has better graphics, for sure but the game is short, very, and the plot is weak. very few weapons, mostly same kind of enemies all the time and the game is about doing the same thing all the time, u see a wall, hide behind it and shoot…the whole game…
But resistance is more versatile, more weapons and enemies, much better story and probably 4 times longer game….and the online play is amazing..40 players and no lagging…while i have seen gears of war lag in singleplayer.
Gears of war has better graphics than FOM but i read an interview with graphics guys from epics games and they said that they had to squeeze the 360 console too the max, to make such great graphics…but the graphic expert from EA said that game developers haven´t used more than 20% of ps3 power, and with not more difference between games than that, I think ps3 is gonna be visually and versatility better.
PS. FOM is much more interactive than GOW…in GOW you destroy a couch and that´s pretty much it…and when you do it disappears. but in FOM u can throw a grenade inside a room and everything goes flying and doesn´t diappear. U can even blow the tires on the cars, and shoot down signs.
MAn you Microslaves should wake the F. up and realize you ave been sucked into getting the crappy system. First of all the Xbox 360 is only doing as well as it is because it went a full year with out any competition. then those numbers are not even taking into the fact that every time someone returned a 360 to a store to have them replace it. those store had to count them as a new sale to keep up there quota. If you do not believe that then go check it out yourself. Then you take in to consideration that Microsoft markets there big name products very well/dirty and tries black balling tricks like bribing media sources, hiring bloggers, and giving little freebies to easily manipulated Gamestop managers and you have the penis envy types who go in to a panic when there little console might be out shined, You end up with the figures your seeing today. Even with all that manipulation going on I still think the PS3 will do great if not better then the rest again. as far as the wii gose well it is $250.00 and parents like it Just like they like there children going to church all up intill they find out there child has been molested. that is the only reason it is doing well.
