Pixelmator: powerful image editor for Mac OS X

Pixelmator
Pixelmator is a very powerful Core image editor built exclusively for Mac OS X that has support for layers and a pixel-accurate collection of selection tools that will let you select any part of your images. Pixelmator is very good at enhancing, editing and creating your images beautifully and fast.

I was amazed at all the Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger hype and all the power of Core Image, and then after not seeing a good image editor make use of Core Image (it was sad).

Pixelmator is the application that many of us have been waiting for as it truly leverages the full power of Apple’s Core image.

Although a lot of people will have mixed views about the software I will say that priced at $59 and with the amount of features Pixelmator has (it’s a bargain), you can expect it to ship in late July.
