I love to hear positive stories especially when it’s true life like the Liz Murray Homeless to Harvard story, as we live in a world with so much negative news and we need more positive news.

Liz Murray’s life story is about a homeless girl in New York City that took herself from the extreme lows of that to getting a scholarship to Harvard University…amazing.

Her memoirs have been recently published and made into a movie, Liz Murray has gone on to say that the happiest part for her is not the fame but the ability to help people who need housing and are also suffering from mental illness as her mother suffered from schizophrenia and her parents were infected with HIV.

It just goes to show you whatever situation you are thrown in, you can achieve and make a difference with a burning desire and hard work to get where you want to go.
