Spiderman 3: more records this time ticket sales in Vietnam

Spiderman 3 has broken all records across the U.S. and following that has carried the trend around the world, this time in Vietnam.

Since the first day Spiderman 3 went into Vietnam theatres on May 25th, the seats in theatres showing the Spiderman 3 movie have been completely filled and bookings are being taken many days before the showing so that people can get a seat.

After just 3 days of screenings in Vietnam Spiderman 3 knocked Pirates of the Caribbean 2 of the record spot by taking VND1.5 billion (US$94,000) for its distributor…another record set for the Spiderman franchise.

Would you believe that it has been just 3 weeks since the Spiderman 3 film was let loose on the world and already it has grossed a worldwide ticket sales figure of US$807 million in theatres…amazing.

Now we know why the movie stars are paid so much money, as that does not include all the Spiderman 3 merchandise, later on DVDs etc.
