Spiderman 4 Villains
Many sites are claiming different things about what the film Spiderman 4 will have in the way of villains and some have even gone as far as to say they know.
One site thinks Black Cat, Carnage and The Lizard will be the villains featured in Spider-Man 4.

Although the script writers (David Koepp may write the script) and producer might know a little of what they will do, but development on Spiderman 4 has not even started so maybe it’s a little early for anyone really to know.

This does not stop Spiderman fans from asking the question “What Villains could be featured in Spider-Man 4?

I think it’s a no-brainer. We’ve just seen Curt Connors with only one arm. The Lizard is simply the most likely because he’s had the right amount of build up and no remaining villains that I can think of have as much personal connection with Peter Parker. The Lizard is also a direct invitation for bringing Kraven the Hunter into the equation.

Carnage is a character who is definitely possible but the character might not offer that interesting a story. If this is the first film with new cast, however, there could be some value in bringing back the symbiote.

Black Cat is a character who was originally intended to be a part of the second film (which suggests that we’re going to hear about plenty of script changes, even the first film had originally used Doc Oc) and this is definitely an appopriate time to bring her in. Mary-Jane and Peter have just survived a huge test in their relationship and [SPIDERMAN 3 SPOILER ALERT - SKIP TO NEXT PARAGRAPH IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED IT YET] they may or may not be about to get married or be married by the start of the next film. Therefore, Felicia Hardy (The Black Cat) could definitely offer a further tension between Peter and Mary-Jane. Alternatively there is the possibility of the Man-Wolf as an old fiancee never does any harm. Although it might be better to build him up a bit more and maybe save his actual transformation for Spiderman 5.

If you are going to have Black Cat there are obvious reasons to bring the Kingpin into the equation as well but rights issues might come up because Daredevil.

And if for any reason you still need to beef up the film a bit more, I’m a bit of a shocker fan. I don’t realy know why. I just am. I’d also definitely want to see Mysterio because of the character of Quentin Beck but I don’t think he’s a logical next step and if you wanted to bring Man-Wolf in Spiderman 5, you could create a sort of spacey theme to the vilains in that film (This could also be a better place for Carnage to be introduced).

One lasst character who we hear suprisingly little about would be Scorpion. It would be a bit of a stretch because of the differences between comic and film but there is a good character story with J Jonah Jameson being the funder of creating a villain.

In summary, if I were writing Spiderman 4, i’d go with Lizard, Kraven, Blackcat and either Shocker (I still don’t know why), Scoripon or Kingpin. You could possibly have two of them but you don’t realy want to use too many at once.

I know why now. Or rather I have a logical reason for Shocker to be used. Shocker is one of those villains who would not detract from other villains in the film but would provide a slight beef to the action This is arguably (though I personaly wouldn’t agree) how the Sandman was used in Spiderman 3.

Definitely if you wanted to use Blackcat and you aren’t using Kingpin, an extra villain that Blackcat and Spidey might find common ground and fight against (although other villains eg. the Lizard who will be alegedly in the film anyway will suffice) would definitely be useful and shocker would probably be one of the most appropriate.

I hope its scorpion. But it will be lizard and someone else.

  4. alex says:

i think venom will be back, because he could not have been destroyed so easily, and the lizard. But the main focus should be venom this time, he deserves more screen time.

  5. Tom Spencer says:

i think the lizard and carnage are in spiderman 4 because Dr. Curt Connors has a bit of the symbiote

  6. spider cide says:

I THINK ITS MYSTERIO OR LIZARD

  7. SpiderFreak says:

    Why Mysterio?

  8. Spidey Rules says:

I think Mysterio would be great to have in spiderman 4.
Mysterio’s special effects would look brilliant on the big screen

  9. sirjaksalot says:

i think that horny guy is gonna be the next villain. i forgot his name though… oh yeah, rhino

  10. Spidey Fan says:

I think Lizard, and carnage should be the villains. The symbiote should come back, and create carnage, and Dr. Curt Conners should do the expirement, and create his arm. Spidey should also find blackcat to combat them in need for help; he won’t be able to battle the 2 alonhje.
