Google maps has changed many people’s and companies life’s around the world and is by far the most popular online mapping service, but this new upgrade of Google Maps Street View Functionality just takes things to a whole new level…low down to the ground in fact.
When I first saw the new Google Street View functionality I was very impressed, this was first shown on the Google Maps preview.
Its really cool being able to view a map of most places in the world and then zoom a long way in, but the new Street View gives you the option of walking around the Map at Street level.
Imagine checking out a new area before you go there by walking around the outside of buildings and down streets…how cool is that.

Most places?????? It supports only a small fraction of places… It’s a nice feature but MOST places are very far from even having a useful map (I’m talking outside US)
