Shadowrun Review Xbox 360

Shadowrun is launched today onto the Xbox 360 and this Microsoft game developed by FASA Interactive looks set to be a winner.
Not just an online-focused first-person shooter as Shadowrun is Microsoft’s first crack at Xbox 360 vs. PC head-to-head combat that adds that extra competitiveness to the gamers who not only want to play each other but also the war between what’s better Xbox 360 or PC.

This is the first impression people will see of Microsoft’s Games for Windows Live initiative.
Microsoft loves to charge fees to play online games, with having to pay for Xbox Live Gold subscription which many including me have done, but it does leave you thinking Why do the other gaming brands not charge?

PC gamers are not used to having to pay for some of these features and many PC gamers get these extras through services that can freely and easily be downloaded.
I think it simply comes down to the fact that gamers really want to be able to cross-platform play, and this is worth the money to many gamers and looks set to be huge fun.

Shadowrun Features Include:
- The ultimate online (and offline) battlefield. Fight against or alongside AI teammates or join up with friends against all comers via System Link, Split-screen, LAN and Xbox Live.
- Classic races reinterpreted for a new world. Experience the thrill of combat as magic reawakens creatures of legend. Humans are joined by elves, dwarves and trolls in a battle for supremacy among soaring corporate towers and an ancient ziggurat of power
- Intense cross-platform multiplayer action. For the first time ever, Xbox 360 and Windows Vista gamers can compete as a team or as foes.
- Bending reality and changing the rules of combat. Dive into a universe where ancient magic co-exists with deadly weaponry, and experience a revolution in multiplayer FPS gaming.
- Rich legacy brought to life. After a 5,000-year absence, magic has returned to the world of 2021, and global corporate might battles a relentless ancient order to harness this reawakened power.
