Pirates of the Caribbean 4: Will it Happen?

As I posted the other day I did go to see Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End on May 24th and it was a fantastic film (the fastest just under 3 hours I have ever experienced).
Now without giving anything away, the end did leave things wide open if they want to do another film, but will they do a Pirates of the Caribbean 4 is the question on millions of people’s minds.
The answer may not be what we want…
Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End was indeed the final chapter of Pirates adventure trilogy (clue trilogy = 3), but Jerry Bruckheimer (the producer) has hinted towards a possible spin-off rather than a fourth pirates movie.
The Herald Sun interviewed Jerry Bruckheimer and he said “is the end [of the current trilogy], but whether one of the characters or a couple of the characters continue on, it’s a possibility. Certainly, in a moment at the end of the film there is a hope that something else might happen“.
So simply put there will not be a Pirates of the Caribbean 4 movie, but a very good chance of a new movie based on Pirates of the Caribbean (which is just not the same).
This is a shame but all good things come to an end, look at the Matrix trilogy and the following spin-offs.

they should make a kind of “how they got this way” movie or something
like, how jack is a pirate, bootstrap too, etc

Will should live!!!!!! Everybody should. or at least the main people. To many people died in this movie! Here’s an idea make it to where will andlizzy can see each other. find jack a girl, and find the fountain of youth. Do IT!!!!!!!!

You cant leave a trilogy open for interpretation. It’s not as enjoyable if there isn’t a definite ending. look at the matrix, star wars, and lord of the rings. Three great trilogies (kind of nerdy,but), three great endings. Thats what makes a trilogy; a beginning, middle, and ending. They really messed up on At Worlds End. The whole fountain of youth thing at the end was a big mistake since they aren’t planning to film a fourth. I’m really disappointed and I think the gross profit from this film should be used to redo At Worlds End, so they can end it right. And by the way spin offs are majorly queer.

No no no! There needs to be a 4th Pirates of the Caribbean, the ending, like everyone else said, was left way too wide open. It can’t end this way. When I left the theatres that movie got me thinking about it all night (no sleep) I mean come on, yall are making more than millions off these movies (no disrespect there). Just make at least one more. Yes give the main characters a break for a while and then start back up with the 4th Pirate movie. Will, Elizabeth, Cpt.Jack Sparrow, Cpt.Barbossa & the Director, come on just one last movie, thats all I and other fans ask for. Just one more sequel to the Pirates of the Caribbean, where everything comes together and ends nicly, happily and AWESOME. Will, Elizabeth, and Cpt. Jack Sparrow yall are my favorite characters. How can yall dissapoint millions of fans world wide? Please have a Pirates of the Carribean 4 “The Foutain of Youth” theres a good title.
