Laser TV is coming: Novalux Inc in Sunnyvale, California
By: James | May 27, 2007
HDTV is well underway but the only real two choices currently when your looking to buy a new flat panel TV is Plasma and LCD, now that is still very good but things are a bit limited for my liking.
Novalux Inc. based in Sunnyvale, California is one of, if the not the top developer of the upcoming Laser TV.
What’s so good about Laser TV’s?
Well at consuming one-third of the power consumption, that’s good for electric bills and the environment. Then you got double the amount of color range which means a much better picture and then the makers are happy as Laser TV’s apparently cost half the production costs of Plasma TV’s.
The only problem holding back Laser TV’s being here sooner is the fact that they are thicker than the current flat panel TV’s and as such cannot be hung from walls, but Novalux is working on this and say they will make them much thinner.
