Sony PS3 to Become Nintendo Wii
The Nintendo Wii might not be the best in graphics but it has to be said that it is a great way to exercise.
Sony has come up with an idea to help with the slow selling PS3 against the very popular Wii.
Sony’s plan of attack is to develop a VR/3-D controller which will be a handheld computer interactive device.

The VR/3-D is meant to be able to take the abilities of the Wii controller a step further.
The sensors in the glove can be triggered by your fingers individually which will help you grasp objects or use each finger to do a different function.

We all know that lately that Virtual Reality/3D game control devices have been the rage for example the Wii Remote, but the Wii remote can only track your 3D hand movements the VR gloves can capture a wider array of control movements.

What if you could have a device that was as easy to use as the Wii controller but could capture all of your hand movements including your fingers this would be cool.
Well Sony thinks so too and may have a 3D PS3 game controller to prove it.
Let’s just hope it is as good as it sounds.

EVERYONE WHO SAYS THEY LIKE SONY IS A *LIAR* AND I HATE CHOO.

i dont think my age comes into it. what is it about ps3 that makes it exclusively for middle-aged guys? the price? the amount of 1st person shooters? i agree nintendo is probably more suitable for kids, but that doesn’t mean its exclusive… resi 4 is definately not a kids game (its an amazing game, actually)

    so ;p

Anyone that beleives the PS3 is clearly the best and only console for them is clearly following Sony and is a fan boy. I would have never thought I would have wanted another console outside of my Wii, but Microsoft is supplying some of the best games that I wouldn’t see on my Wii. With all the talk about costs and multiplatform, I don’t see any exclusives on the PS3 that won’t make it to another console in some form.

Sure I won’t see Lair or Heavenly Sword, but I can’t see spending $500+ just for two games either. There is talk once again from Konami about MGS going multiplatform due to development costs. Personally, I think Sony bit off more than they can handle this generation but there is still a ways to go before a winner is declared and one may not be.

For now, I will stick with my Wii60 (Wii and 360) as it offers the best gaming experience right now. Also, Wii is not a kiddy machine considering the releases of Godfather, Scareface, Resident Evil 4, Manhunt 2 on its way, and many other great games that do not fall into the kiddy realm.
