Making its way around the world in Sony’s typical rolling release cycle is the PS3 (Playstation 3) 1.8 firmware, First to APAC, then Europe and last the Americas.
This is the first screen shots of the new DLNA-enabled media sharing in the PS3’s XMB interface. The Xbox 360 has had this kind of set up for a while, but now PS3 owners get to have music, pictures, and video stored on their networked PC streamed onto their PS3.
The PS3 1.8 firmware will be most welcomed by the consoles gamers all around the world, this set up should work on any DLNA-supported PC and that means Macs and PSPs as well.
