This new addition to Nikon’s Performance range of compact digital cameras has excellent exposure, color, and sharpness from its 10 megapixel 3.5x zoom lens.
The Nikon Coolpix P5000 also has optical image stabilization and Vibration Reduction to combat camera shake, but nothing is perfect so the P5000 also has some bad points which include highly inconsistent color across different ISO sensitivity levels and the LCD is unusable in bright sunlight.
The Nikon P5000 will set you back around $340 or in the UK £329.99 and was made available to buy at the end of March this year.
Although the Nikon Coolpix P5000 has a few performance issues, it still is a good compact digital camera for amateurs.
