The Dell Inspiron E1705 might not match up to Dell’s high-end 17-inch XPS M1710 laptop for gaming but it also does pack a punch as a mobile gaming rig with some really decent graphics.
Although the Dell Inspiron E1705 is good at graphics, this is not what this laptop is designed for, where it really shines is being a media center portable computer with external USB TV tuner and Media Center remote.
The high-resolution screen and front-edge media control buttons on the Dell Inspiron E1705 make it the perfect portable home theater setup.
The keyboard is on the little cramped side and the Inspiron E1705 has no next-gen optical drive options, but if you get passed that then you have a laptop that is good at both multimedia and gaming.
Dell Inspiron E1705 Main Features:
- 120GB Toshiba 5,400rpm SATA/150
- 256MB Nvidia GeForce Go 7900GS
- 2,048MB DDR2 SDRAM 667MHz
- 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T7200
- Windows Vista Home Premium Edition
Prices range from $999 to $2,000 depending on the configuration.
