When Second Life was first started I am sure many thought it would be good but I also find it hard to believe anyone could have seen what Second Life Is today.
With a lot of people Second Life has become their First Life and with 6,638,500 total residents and last time we looked $1,094,116 US$ were spent in the last 24 hours on Second Life…it’s simply amazing.
Second Life is a 3-D virtual world entirely built and owned by its residents and much like the real world there are people bent on destruction, because of this there are various police investigations currently happening in a number of countries.
With the FBI just starting investigating Second Life for illegal online gambling it makes you wonder how far things will go.
It does not stop there as the Police in the Netherlands, Belgium and the UK are investigating whether virtual crimes in Second Life constitutes an offence.
What do you think? Should a virtual crime in Second Life get you arrested in the real world?
