I am very happy that the Motorola ROKR E6 is not using Windows Mobile for its smartphone and instead using its own Linux-based OS.
With so many smartphones looking the same its great to see a phone going a different route, the ROkR e6 Linux-based Moto phone is the perfect answer for users that love smartphones and love Linux.
While I am not sure if Linux is the answer to beating other smartphones, one thing I do know is that Linux can do anything if done right.
We have also heard rumors that Samsung is meant to be doing the same thing along the Linux OS line, but we do not have any details about this (please comment below if you know more).
Motorola ROKR E6 Key Features Include:
- FM Radio
- MP3 Player with Dedicated Music Controls
- 8 MB plus MicroSD™ Memory Card up to 2 GB
- Linux Based Operating System
- 2 Megapixel Camera with 8 x Digital Zoom and Flash
- 2.4 Inch TFT 262k Colour Touch Screen (240 x 320 Pixels)

Why should one buy MOTO ROKR E6:
1. A big 2.4” touchscreen.

2. A very very cool music cum smart phone.
3. Lots of features & softwares.
4.Real player + fm radio + wireless stereo music.
5. 2Gb sd card support.
6.Never before seen styles & themes.
Why u should not buy it:
1.No keypad, tough for new users.
2.Takes time for new users to get used to.
3. 2 mp cam without flash, no autofocus, lens protection, bad bad video.
4. Bad control for new games.
5. A bit heav, not in the pocket.
Now its up to u. For Rs 9.2k i can bet my life u wont find a touch screen phone having so much features.
