Apple Laptop Patent: Shows plans for thinner stronger enclosures

This patent application by Apple indicates clearly that they are working towards a better design for stronger and thinner laptop enclosures.

The patent application was made back in December 2006, but has only just got published and it goes on to describe two design goals that Apple wish to achieve.

We have seen a few news stories about Apple planning thin and ultra portable Apple laptops, but this patent application just prove what all the rumours have been saying.

Apple have always had the best designed Laptops and other products including the iPod so this makes sense that they want to keep ahead of the design game, new technology tends to make things lighter and smaller which is always better for us consumers.

Lets hope they achieve their goes sooner rather than later for a much more thinner and lighter MacBook Pro
