3D Desktop on Mandriva Linux 2007 Spring
Some people have not used Mandriva since the days when they were known as Mandrake, they were always known as one of the most user friendly Linux operating systems.

With the latest version having some very nice software many want to come back to Mandriva Linux 2007 Spring.
The good news is that Mandriva has added all the latest 3D desktop updates in Mandriva Linux 2007 Spring and these include the very cool Beryl and Metisse.

What is Metisse?
They are a pioneering French research project that aims to improve human to computer interfaces. Metisse have made it possible to have a new level of interaction with windows.

What is Beryl?
They are very similar to Compiz which include features like a 3D cube and the ’scale’ window display; Beryl also has a wide range of plug-ins enabling many more features thanks to these plugins.
