As I love watching Sci-Fi films and documentaries I have heard many things about Nano technology, but up to now most of this has been in the minds of film directors and more fiction than fact…this is all about to change.
Researchers at Princeton and Harvard University have made a crucial step towards building biological computers. These molecular doctors can monitor the characteristics and activities of human cells; it will not be long before tiny implantable devices will be a reality.
Medicine will be revolutionized like we have never seen before with these implantable devices directing therapies only to diseased cells or tissues, at that point we could start to cure many previously incurably diseases.
For more information visit physorg or if you want the full results, they will be published later this week in the journal Nature Biotechnology.
The real question is How far will all this new health technology go? If we will be able to detect the presence of a mutated gene in our children or unborn babies will this affect their future?
