By: John | May 21, 2007
Life’s not fair sometimes when someone else seems to get a better deal than you and this seems to be the case with the upcoming Sony PS3 launch in South Korea, as the Playstation 3 over there is getting 15 games and an 80 gig model (although the only choice they have is one package).
The final details were only just confirmed by Sony Korea today, the people of South Korea will be able to buy the PS3 from the 16th of June 2007 at a cost of $554 / 518,000 won.
Although on the downside, the Korean model of the Sony PS3 will have the same chipset that launched with European version of the system, this PS3 has shakier backwards compatibility and no Emotion Engine.
The Korean launch will give users a choice of 15 games including: Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Call of Duty 3, Fight Night, Need for Speed Carbon, Def Jam Icon, The Godfather, Gundam: Target in Sight, Blazing Angels, Untold Legends Dark Kingdom, Armored Core 4, Virtua fighter 5, Motorstorm, Genji, Resistance and Ridge Racer 7.
