This is some really good news from HP, as they are to start shipping two mobile PCs that have LED displays in the Q3 of 2007.
I am not the only one who is over the moon that we now officially are getting LEDs (light-emitting diode) inside of HP Laptop LCDs.
The ultra-light HP laptops will be the 2710 tablet and Compaq 2510p (which is not the laptop above), they will not be the highest specification laptops but will feature bright technology inside their screens and be good at battery saving.
Main Features of HP Compaq 2510p:
- Illumi-Lite display
- 12.1-inch screen
- Windows Vista or Windows XP
- Weighs 2.9 pounds
- Intel’s Centrino Pro processor
We do not have the features of the 2710 tablet PC apart from the obvious touch screen and Illumi-Lite display it will have.
The pricing has not been made public yet, but if you do get any information on these notebooks please leave a comment below.
