19th-century ship the Cutty Sark
Only a couple of minutes ago it has been confirmed by London Fire Brigade that the preserved 19th-century ship the Cutty Sark is on fire, with eight fire engines trying to control the fire at the scene in Greenwich, south-east London.

One of Britain’s best known tourist attractions that people for all around the world have visited is said to be 100% alight in this huge fire.

Close to the Docklands Light Railway they are evacuating local residents as I type this breaking news.

The ship is was due to reopen in 2009 after being closed for extensive renovation work.
With fears currently mounting that gas cylinders on board the ship may explode.
