ATI Radeon HD 2900 XT: need next-gen games to arrive
May 21, 2007 | Filed under Computer Hardware, Computers

The ATI Radeon HD 2900 XT is an amazing product at the top of the graphics cards list, but it seems a card before its time as we are still waiting for the next-gen games to arrive.
The built-in audio chip will send audio directly out the HDMI adapter which streamlines home-theater PC setups.
Although the Radeon HD 2900 XT is not the best graphics card it has to be said that next-gen performance is way too early to call and the competing brand NVIDIA has a similar card for $50 less.
Some people have said that the Radeon HD 2900 XT gets very hot and is noisy, power-hungry and not well-suited for smaller home-theater PCs.
Once the next-gen games to arrive and we have some more mature drivers then will be able to give the award to the 3D graphics card winner.
If you are a home theater enthusiast then this card is built just for you in mind, other than that I would wait it out to see the results once better games arrive.
The Main Features Are:
