Internet Access for Military
I have a friend out in Afghanistan and he was told they have or will be getting Wi-Fi networks in rooms, which is simple technology so no frills here but they have not done so and will not for some time.

Now for the wellbeing of soldiers you think that this would have been a high priority to keep their sprits high, but it cannot be the case.

Also Recently the U.S. military has announced that they will block certain popular websites such as Photobucket, MySpace and YouTube to troops.

This does make sense because these sites can pose security concerns for the military, the Pentagon lets troops use the Defense Department’s network which lets them Easily restricted Internet access.

The bad side to this news for troops is that the hyped up security will limit them from keeping in touch with family and friends as they use to post videos and live journals.

The blocked sites list does not stop there as it also includes:
live365, MTV, Pandora, Hi5, BlackPlanet, FileCabi, StupidVideos, IFilm, Metacafe and others.

Another way to supress the people from freedom of press. Only feed them what you want. Surely a good diet of Pro War propaganda will grow them into strong soldiers.
