Apple Final Cut Studio 2: Many Improvements in New Software

If you placed your order for Apple’s Final Cut Studio 2 just after it was announced at NAB in April your order has started to or will soon ship to you.

Apple’s Final Cut Studio 2 has some nice improvements over the previous version which include the new application Color which is used for comparison checking and grading color, Motion 3 with a brand-new UI, DVD Studio Pro 4.2 for SD and HD authoring, Compressor 3 for batch encoding, Soundtrack Pro 2 and Apple’s new ProRes 422 format made specifically for uncompressed HD.

You will not be happy if the version of Final Cut Studio 2 you ordered was an upgrade as these have not left the shelves yet, but we are sure it will not be long before upgrades start to ship as well.
