USB Hamster: My Son Has One

Every time I leave the house my daughter asks when are we getting a cat (I tell her when she is 11, way off yet) and she will keep asking and asking.
So last time I went out we were at Bluewater Shopping centre in the UK, we visited a gadget shop and in there they had a battery powered gadget which was a hamster (not a real one) running on a wheel.

Well I bought this for her and my son and said this will do for now and in another 3 years you can have a real cat.

The reason for this post is to show you something similar to the battery powered hamster I bought at Bluewater, in the photo above you can see the USB Hamster which is a much better gadget than what I brought.

Why is it better? Well it’s USB of course and can connect to my computer for power and that just makes it much more fun.

There is no commitment to care for this Hamster, no food to feed it and no veterinary treatment. This is the USB Hamster which just loves exercise by running around and around its wheel (how I long for a simple life like that).

Now we get to the really cool bit…The faster you type on your computers keyboard the faster this USB hamsters wheel will turn…see that just makes this gadget a whole lot more fun than that boring battery powered one I brought.
