Sat-Go by DirecTV: worlds first portable satellite TV system

Many know the brand DirecTV, but what you may not know is about there plans for a satellite TV in a briefcase.
Many of us know that mobile TV and video is a big thing that is becoming more and more in our lives everyday and as the technology improves will be with us in many forms of gadgets.
DirecTV does not want people buying into the idea of Mobile TV on tiny cell phone screens, what they want is something entirely different.
What DirecTV has started to ship is a product called Sat-Go which is said to be the world’s first complete portable satellite TV system
Sat-Go is made by a company called Humax and the device includes a removable 17-inch LCD monitor with an integrated satellite receiver, this device is not small by any means and comes with an antenna, remote control and laptop-style battery.
The Sat-Go comes in a large brown briefcase that is 19½ inches wide and a not-so-light 27 pounds.
Now as technology moves forwards things are meant to get smaller and more advanced, although I do not doubt this piece of kit is advanced but it reminds me of a computer from the 1980s…but forgetting about size and thinking about just having a portable satellite TV in a briefcase is amazing.
