New Centrino Duo and Pro: Santa Rosa platform into stores

The previously codenamed Santa Rosa platform from Intel has now been formally announced and you will now see the new business-orientated Centrino Pro platform set sail into stores.

The biggest change is the Core 2 Duo chips for a much faster 800MHz front-side bus speed, but we also see better connectivity options and battery life, quicker booting of often used applications thanks to the new Flash-memory technology called TurboMemory.
