As technology continues to improve you would expect us to have more technology around us when we travel and this is just what has happened with American Airlines as they have just announced the availability of the Archos 704 personal media players on transcontinental flights.
The service will be free to first class and business class passengers (as you would expect from the ticket prices) and if you travel from Los Angeles and Chicago on MD80 flights you will get the Archos 605 made available to you.
The Archos 704 comes with some amazing headphones (the Bose(R) Quiet Comfort(R) 3 Acoustic Noise headphones) and trust me when I say Bose are amazing when it comes to speakers and sound as I own a few of their products.
You will also get a 7” touch style LCD screen on the Archos 704 to give business and first class passengers even more luxury.
This just a 4 month test program which if it turns out successful then it will be rolled out nationwide.
