CF-to-SATA
So you got some Compact Flash cards and you cannot find a good use for them, well how about this solution in the form of a CF-to-SATA hard drive adapter that will take any CompactFlash I/II card and then you can simply pop it into the 2.5-inch SATA HDD slot found on the bottom of most laptops.

This is a cool gadget because it allows the CF card to be seen as an ordinary hard drive and you can then go on to configure it as a nice and fast boot device.

Add to that the fact that the CF-to-SATA hard drive adapter supports DMA and Ultra DMA modes at a price that is right ($35.99).

Main Features:

  • Compatible with DOS, Windows 3.1, NT4, 98SE, Me, 2000, XP, Vista, Mac, Linux
  • Supports DMA and Ultra DMA modes (only on flash media card with such features)
  • Transparent to the operating system and does not require any drivers
  • CF Card can be the primary bootable device containing the OS and applications
  • Mounts directly onto notebook 2.5″ SATA connector
  • SATA interface
  • Compatible with CFI/II
  • Enable Compact Flash (CF) to be used like ordinary 2.5″ SATA hard drive
