Supercomputer Simulates Mouse Brain
So you might think when will a supercomputer mimic a human brain, but I guess this is a long way off and could really start the war of A.I taking over if that happens.

Believe it or not but it does really take a supercomputer to mimic a mouse brain and it was just half a virtual mouse brain as well.

The US researchers used a BlueGene L supercomputer which the scientists said they ran a cortical simulator which showed characteristics of thought patterns observed in real mouse brains.

They are not stopping there as they want to fine tune the simulation so it goes much faster and acts more like a real mouse brain, this is a really complex simulation even when it’s a mouse brain as brain tissue has a massive number of interactions between the elements involved.

Computers may be smart and supercomputers even smarter but they have a long way to go yet to think like real brains (but this time will come and could be worrying to many of us).
