Detect an Electrical Storm up to Forty Miles Away

I remember playing golf many times and seeing the clouds poor over my head then getting that feeling that a thunder storm is coming, which any golfer will know that thunder storms are not good when holding golf clubs.

Well thanks to the marvels of technology this little device is called the Strike Alert which can detect an electrical storm up to forty miles away (gives us plenty of time to get to cover).

The decibel level of the thunder helps Strike Alert work out with its sensitive sensors the distance that the storm is away from you, which it then tells you by a series of LED lights on top of the device.

Many of us would buy just about any gadget because we love them (or even for a gift), but this is a really handy device for anyone who spends time outdoors for fun, work or sport.
