Mobile Broadcast Corporation: MBR-501A Portable Satellite Receiver

This is a cool gadget from Mobile Broadcast Corporation, the MBR-501A is a portable satellite broadcast receiver which lets you watch digital TV programs on the move in Japan.

The MBR-501A has a SD card slot which supports media up to 2 GB (that lets you record up to 78 hours of audio (1500 songs) and 9 hours of video.

The screen is a 3.5 inch QVGA TFT with a 320×240 pixels resolution and the MBR-501A weighs 6,34 oz, measures 88×0.71×2, 95 inches, a battery life of 7 hours when watching recorded videos or 4 hours when receiving transmissions.

This portable satellite broadcast receiver will ship this May at a cost of 19,800 Yens.
