Some of the latest mobile phones have some really good cameras built into them but they still lack the a ability to physically zoom in on a subject.
This may now have been solved thanks to researchers at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) as they have developed a new type of lens.
This lens will let mobile phones take close-up shots with their built in digital cameras thanks to the power of a telephoto lens.
5 millimeters thick and 40 millimeters long the zooming capabilities of a telephoto lens could revolutionize the camera abilities of mobile phones as we know them.
